Located across from Austin College, Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church serves the needs of the Grayson County area as well as the Austin College community.

Lander became the pastor of Grand Ave Presbyterian Church in 1994. He and his wife, Genna, have three sons, and have lived in Texas, since 1984
