Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church was organized on November 8, 1900
as the College Park Presbyterian Church, in response to the need for
a Presbyterian congregation in close proximity to
Mission Statement:
Christ calls the people of Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church
Boldly and reflectively to receive and celebrate God’s gifts to us;
To nurture our extended family in Christ; and
To reach out to the nearby community and wider world
Through acts of creative worship, mutual education, and humble service
Within the limits and potential of the diversity of persons in this particular place and time.
Lander became the pastor of Grand Ave Presbyterian Church in 1994. He and his wife, Genna, have three sons, and have lived in
